Student Services Coordinator
Clackamas Community College



PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Coordinate and perform the overall operations of enrollment services and Testing Center, including entering data, preparing/reviewing documents related to student services and accounts receivable modules in Datatel, receipting funds tendered, issuing receipts, and assisting with billing and collection activities within the Department. Coordinate enrollment processes with other campuses and serve as liaison for problem solving with other college departments, students, and the public. Serve as information resource and provide assistance in response to inquiries from students, faculty, public, and college personnel, regarding college activities and programs.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties as described. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be: Associate's degree or equivalent AND four years' experience.

KNOWLEDGE: Advanced Knowledge of procedures in a post-secondary student services setting. Knowledge of facilities management, word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing software, and integrated data base systems.

SKILL: Skill in the use of personal computers, office software programs, standard office equipment, and providing quality customer service.

ABILITIES: Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, employees, other agencies, and the general public; manage time effectively; read and interpret policies, regulations and laws as they relate to this job; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals and groups. Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.
