Job Summary
12 East Mott is a 32 bed positive, energetic medical/surgical unit where our passion is to provide world-class family centered care. Patients range in age from premature neonates to young adults. Come work with a multidisciplinary team whose commitment to excellence is underscored only by our commitment to patients and their families. You will work with general pediatric medicine and surgery patients as well as specialty services of GI, Pulmonary, ID, Liver Transplant, Genetics, Oto and Plastic Surgery. Salary & Nursing Framework Level:This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C.Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Required Qualifications*
Current RN license for the State of Michigan.BCLS certified.Graduate Nurses will be considered for this position.****Condition of hire for Graduate Nurses:Selected GN must successfully pass NCLEX and be licensed as a RN in the state of Michigan no later than 45 days from date of hire.NOTE: In order to be considered for this position the applicant must have met or will have met all the required qualifications prior to the start date of employment. Work Schedule

Salary range for Registered Nurses- $63,918.40- $101,108.80
  • Evening Shift Differential- $2.35 per hour
  • Night Shift Differential- $3.20 per hour
  • Weekend Differential- $1.75 per hour

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U-M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
