Quality Assurance Professional (Two Year Limited Term)


The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Quality Assurance Professional (Two Year Limited Term).

The Quality Assurance Professional works with the Lead Quality Assurance Professional to design, implement and coordinate the QA practice for the Office of Information Technologies. The Quality Assurance practice governs the quality aspects of the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of all software systems including ERP systems, 3rd party systems, custom developed systems and business intelligence systems. The Quality Analyst is responsible for developing and documenting test plans/strategies, developing automated test scripts, cross platform and cross browser testing, working with the developers to troubleshoot issues, and working with business analysts to clarify requirements and build test cases.?The Office of Information Technologies serves as the Notre Dame community's trusted partner for effective information technology solutions to advance the University's mission and goals. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required or commensurate work experience. Degree preferably in Business, Information Technology or Computer Science. Must have 4 6 years of previous quality assurance/testing experience. Proven Quality Assurance background, including strong knowledge of QA standards and methodologies, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), implementation of reviews, requirements analysis, test design, test execution, and test analysis. Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and continuous Improvement experience. Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting abilities, strong written and verbal communications, and documentation skills are required to be successful in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
Business requirements development experience strongly desired. (*LI-POST)
