Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing administrative, logistical, and fiscal support functions for a federal TRIO program.
Duties may include:
- Maintain project budgets and fiscal operations
- Maintain participant and project records
- Provide administrative, fiscal and logistical support to program director and outreach staff
- Utilize University programs to create and submit financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
- Office support functions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services
- Managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Working with minors
- Navigating and applying relevant policies and procedures
- Skills:
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills resulting in the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and student staff
