Position Summary
We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join the Office of Student Leadership and Activities (OSLA). Reporting to the Director of Student Leadership and Activities, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, marketing, execution and assessment of campus wide and leadership programs. In collaboration with student organizations, the Program Coordinator will create and manage events designed to enhance student development and encourage an active campus life.

The Office of Student Leadership and Activities strives to provide inclusive, positive and comprehensive experiences to compliment the students curricular experience. The department serves as an integral part of the Division of Student Affairs and works closely with Multicultural Student Affairs, Office of Spiritual Life, Residence Life and Health, Wellness and Recreation.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee orientation student leader selection process
  • Create and support commuter student needs and programs
  • Serve as an adviser for all students and/or student organization needs for OSLA including class council(s)
  • Create content specifically for OSLA student media outlets and digital signage
  • Train and Supervise student event assistants
  • Assist with managing MBTA Student Semester T Pass Program
  • Train and support student organizations on a variety of topics including program planning, College policies, and budgeting
  • Represent the department on committees and task forces as appointed
  • Support and work large-scale, campus-wide events including but not limited to: COF Block Party/After Party, COF Spring Week and Senior Week

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree a plus
  • 1+ years' of professional experience in higher education/student affairs or related field
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity efforts embedded into the foundation of all programming and initiatives
  • Ability to work night and weekend activities and events
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of college student development principles
