Job Description:



  • Position Code: ADJFC

  • Job Type: Part-time Adjunct Faculty/Supervision

  • Class type: On-ground (Supervision)

  • Class level: Graduate

  • Date class is scheduled to begin: August 19, 2019

  • Class schedule: Program supervisors observe and meet with teacher candidates during their pre-practicum and practicum a minimum of 9 times throughout the year-long experience. In addition, practicum supervisors should attend seminar classes as requested.


Bay Path University - (Sturbridge and East Longmeadow campuses) seeks experienced program supervisors to work with graduate students pursuing licensure in special education (moderate and severe). Program supervisors will supervise graduate students in the western and central Massachusetts areas approximately 9 times per student, per year, and meet monthly with other program supervisors.



Requirements:



  • Minimum of Masters degree in related field

  • Minimum of 5 years K-12 special education teaching and/or special education administration experience. Supervision experience preferred as well as familiarity with CAP (Massachusetts Candidate Assessment of Performance)

  • Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Should be committed to a culture of diversity, respect and inclusion.

  • General knowledge of the University's mission, purpose, and goals and the role this position plays in achieving those goals.
