Medical Assistant- Clinic Setting

We are seeking highly motivated Medical Assistant to work in fast paced clinic.

Experienced Medical Assistant with previous Administrative and Customer Service Experience will be considered.

Job Type: Per Diem/Contract: This is an on call position Monday through Thursday, no weekends.

You must have good organizational and interpersonal skills and be flexible with your schedule. In addition you must have great administrative and customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Taking vital signs

Preparing patients for physical exams and preparing and processing lab specimens

Patient registration and scheduling

Phlebotomy and injections Urinalysis and specimen collection

Chart preparation and filing

Candidate must possess the following skills/abilities:
- Good communication skills
- Good business writing skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task - Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Have a positive, friendly demeanor at all times and willingness to go above & beyond.
- Self-motivated and highly accountable

-Computer Literate

Education/Training Required Degree: High school diploma or equivalent. Completed Medical Assistant Course.

Salary: $16.00 /hour
