MBA Programs Manager

Job Summary:

Under the supervision and direction of the Senior Director of MBA Programs, the Program Manager of the MBA Programs is responsible for academic operations and administration of the FTMBA, PTMBA, and EMBA Programs, including educational event planning and execution, EMBA advising, problem-solving, enhancement of the student's extracurricular and co-curricular experiences, and record-keeping.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Manage MBA Programs daily operations and provide a high level of customized customer service. Work closely with representatives from USF departments to modify standard operating procedures and develop solutions to accommodate the needs ofl provide a seamless student experience for all MBA students.
Assist the Senior Director of MBA Programs and the Deans to improve short-term service delivery while assisting with the development of a long-term strategic plan for improvement and growth.
Regularly communicate with professors and students about logistics, schedules. Manage workflow for collecting course material information and distributing to students in timely manner.
Maintain accurate, current student academic files and records of program development activities, including curriculum design and content, co-curricular activities, and other relevant data.
Provide reports of classes, faculty, and teaching times to Academic Planning and Resources.
Monitor and suggest updates and revisions for MBA programs related websites.
Design and implement MBA-level program events, including Preterm, Kickoff (a.k.a. orientation), welcome dinner, welcome back networking event, periodic wine & cheeses, completion module.
Participate and support in curriculum design, planning, and delivery logistics. Administer regular surveys for MBA students and partner with the Senior Director of MBA Program and the Associate Deans to develop and implement program changes and improvements based on survey data.
Work with Academic Planning and Resources to coordinate class schedules.

Counsel EMBA students on all matters related to their academic records and progress, including class registration issues, probation status, transcripts, projected graduation date, transfer credits and communication issues that may arise between a student and faculty or administration.
May supervise an OPE staff and/or student workers.
Partner with Career Services to provide solutions for MBA students, including resume development/enhancement, professional development and executive coaching.
Work closely with Admissions and Recruitment to coordinate MBA related recruitment events, applicant interviews, and admitted student yield activities.

Key Executions:
Outstanding customer service to prospective and current students, faculty, and alumni.
Improvement of advising activities through policy setting and execution.
Deliver high quality student programs that contribute to the students education and overall experience.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree from an accredited university. Graduate Degree preferred. Minimum of five years of related work experience, preferably in an academic environment. Experience working with graduate students is a plus. Experience strongly desired in word processing, spreadsheets, website maintenance. Proven ability to function in a leadership capacity, working with minimal supervision and a high degree of autonomy in establishing priorities, making decisions, and carrying through tasks on deadline. Strong ability and commitment to working in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. High customer service values and an exceptional level of professionalism are required. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
