INSTRUCTION & CLASSROOM TECHNICIAN
HEALTH SCIENCES

Use your skills to help create the next generation of health care professionals. You will work collaboratively with faculty and staff of the Nursing and Health Sciences departments to provide positive, supportive learning environments for participants in those lab classes.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, materials, and solutions for class projects; assisting the instructor with demonstrations or lectures, writing or editing laboratory handouts or manuals; operating, maintaining or repairing laboratory and demonstration instruments and equipment; and a variety of other duties in support of the program.

You will need:
Associate's degree in a health or science related field
Verifiable credentials as a CMA
Experience with or knowledge of standard teaching practices, methods, and techniques.
Experience with or knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with specific proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced level skills)
Ability to work closely with other members of a team to provide services and attain common goals

It's a plus if you have:
A Bachelor's degree with a major in Health Sciences or a related field
Two years working experience in a health science lab setting
Bilingual language skills
Previous work experience in a college or university setting

Salary: $37,476 to $49,020 per year plus benefits. This is a full time, 12 month position. Typical hours are M-F, 8am-5pm, September-June; and M-Th, 7:30am-6pm, June-September. Some flexibility may be required to support program needs.
