English Composition Instructor (Part-Time/Adjunct)
San Jose/Evergreen Community College District

The San Jose/Evergreen Community College District is seeking a part-time/adjunct English Composition Instructor for the ENLACE Program at Evergreen Valley College.

This will begin Spring 2018 and will be for two English classes. More information about the Enlace Program can be found at http://www.evc.edu/academics/special-academic-programs/enlace.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Master's in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition

OR

Bachelor's in any of the above

AND

Master's in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing or journalism

OR

***The equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with Chicano/Latino first generation students.
2. Bilingual Spanish/English
Salary placement is based on candidate's verified education and experience.
