Job Summary
The Director of Content Marketing is the primary content creator for Integrated Marketing. As such, it will provide content across all of our marketing and communication channels, including print, web, social media and paid media. It also helps provide editorial guidance to all campus constituents as needed and is an important advisor at all levels of campus.
This is a critical storytelling position, as it directs, edits and publishes University-wide publications, including the TODAY magazine, Mav Nation, Alumni Link and advancement publications such as the Donor Report and Endowment Report. It also works with campus clients to collect and tell stories through other channels, including but not limited to the University webpage, online Today magazine, social media and short-form videos. This position also serves the campus community as a resource for assistance on print materials as needed and works closely with the Graphics team in Printing Services to ensure that all materials adhere to graphic standards and appropriately promote the University brand.

1. Photography and/or videography skills
2. Successful experience working with collaborators such as graphic designers, writers, photographers and web designers, as well as serving clients.
3. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about integrated marketing concepts and practices.
4. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute publications on time and on budget.
5. Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working environment and to creating publications that reflect the institution's diversity.
Additional Requirements
In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (MnSCU) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to MnSCU's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
