About the Position:
Extension and International Programs collaborates with University departments and colleges on unique programs for students from the community and around the world. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Director, EIP Information Technology. Under the general direction of the Associate Dean, Enrollment Management Operations, the Director of EIP Information Technology is responsible for research, recommendation, implementation, and support of technology solutions to support unit goals and works closely with Campus IT to ensure technology alignment with campus technology strategy and CSU policy and procedure guidelines. In addition, the Director provides expertise and support for end-users that includes information technology services, Customer Relationship Management (CRM-Salesforce) administrative support, marketing automation technology, and general office application and hardware support. This position serves as the Technical Liaison to Campus IT. Collaborates and coordinates with Campus IT to ensure EIP alignment with and participation in campus-wide technology strategy and initiatives. Oversees and ensures the security and safety of EIP information technology systems. Manages security awareness and training to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and CSU guidelines as interpreted by Campus IT and under their guidance. Manages EIP's existing database and front-end applications to support business needs. Serves as champion for new technologies that improve student and end-user experience and business workflow. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education context with progressively increasing responsibility. Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a supervisory role. Solid foundation of knowledge and skills in technical information systems and applications. Demonstrated ability to support institutional and/or business activities (e.g. project/program management, financial/budget management and analysis, staffing and professional development, strategic planning) in settings serving domestic and international students. Competence appropriate to perform work required of the position and to lead information technology projects in support of programs, student and faculty success, and organizational efficiency. Skilled in collaborating and working within an ethnically and culturally diverse organization as well as campus and external constituencies. Ability to lead and champion change and work effectively with ambiguity.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
