Coordinator, Symposium Spaces

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Symposium Spaces, the Symposium Spaces Coordinator is responsible for the successful planning, implementation and coordination of events, performances and rehearsals in the Symposium Spaces.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and schedule all events in Presentation Theater and Studio Theater in conjunction with student groups, CAS, EM&GS, and departments in CAS, as well as other schools.
Coordinate with programs and USF event producers to distribute marketing materials for events within USF Symposium Spaces.
Manage the Front of House and Box office staffing for Symposium Spaces.
Under the supervision of the Director, work with all event producing entities at USF, as well as outside groups, to create a season of engaging programming at the USF symposium spaces.
Manage venue-specific marketing platforms, such as venue bulletin boards, display cases, social media, and websites.
Manage venue access for productions.
Under the supervision of the Director, onboard all productions into USF Symposium Spaces and its policies, and manage contracts, payments, invoices, and communications.
Coordinate community outreach including internships, and developing and strengthen campus-community arts partnerships.
Other duties as assigned by the Director.

Minimum Requirements:

1-3 years of experience planning performances and productions or equivalent.
BS in Theater, Performing Arts, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of a vision and business plan for the Symposium Spaces.
Ability to work in a self-directed manner, involve multiple stakeholders, and develop and implement processes.
Excellent communication and management skills.
