Position Summary:
The successful candidate will hold a 9-month, non-tenure track full-time clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering.

Teaching assignments may include both lower upper-division Electrical and Computer Engineering courses. We will only consider candidates with computer engineering expertise. Other teaching needs may arise, such as technical elective courses at the senior undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be involved in advising and mentoring students in the courses to be taught.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have Masters of Science in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
Experience communicating orally and in writing to a range of audiences.
Experience in Computer Engineering.
Experience teaching undergraduate level courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

Undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering or related fields.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a state of Idaho Professional Engineer License within 5 years.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Relevant industrial experience is highly desirable.
Possessing PE license is a plus.
PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
