Essential Functions:
The primary purpose of this position is to teach, advise, train and supervise communication disorders students to become SLPs. It will also enable the program to maintain accreditation by the Council for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Earned Masters degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Science or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, (neurogenic adult experience preferred), 2 years of supervision experience, CCC-SLP and be eligible for North Carolina Licensure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess knowledge, level and skills in the field of Communication Disorders, work collaboratively with students and other professionals within and outside of the disciple, program, department and community. Aware of current trends of the profession. Knowledge of developmental disabilities, neurogenic disorders and disabilities across the life span.
