GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under an assigned supervisor, provide didactic, laboratory and clinical instruction in Adult Echocardiography. Other responsibilities include providing instruction in basic cardiovascular clinical skills, developing and maintaining curriculum current to the scope of practice, preparing course outlines and student learning materials, designing and administering written and clinical performance tests, counseling students on clinical performance and academic matters and coordinating student assignments to local clinical affiliates. The Program is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and has a 40 year history of preparing graduates to enter clinical practice.
