MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Ph.D. in the Life Sciences with postdoctoral research experience in molecular microbiology. A record of research productivity. Potential for effective teaching of virology and other courses in the biological sciences curriculum. Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years or more of postdoctoral research experience. Research experience in and/or potential to study eukaryotic/prokaryotic viruses. A record of extramural research support. Teaching experience at the college level especially in virology and molecular biology. Demonstrated interest in increasing the participation of underrepresented students in STEM fields.
