Detailed Description:
Under the supervision of the Senior Director of the USD Career Development Center, provide leadership, oversight, and direction of all assessment efforts for the Career Center. Develop assessment strategies that allow the Career Center to quantitatively and qualitatively measure desired learning outcomes and evaluate primary programs and initiatives. Utilize valid and reliable research methods to gather, analyze, and report data to both internal and external constituents. Primary areas of focus for data analysis include: immediate post-graduation career outcomes of students, large career fairs, Torero Treks, mentorship programs individual counseling appointments, employer satisfaction, and mandatory professional development programs.
Under the guidance and consultation of the Senior Director, co-leads office strategic planning efforts. Working with the Career Development Center leadership team, the Assistant Director for Assessment and Planning guides the development and execution of the Career Center Strategic Plan, collaborates in the planning of the semi-annual staff retreats, systematically tracking progress towards completion of identified goals though TracDat, communicates with other campus partners, and creates the Career Center's annual report in collaboration with the Senior Director and the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communication. Supervise Technology Resource Analyst and undergraduate student workers on initiatives to improve office efficiencies in collaboration with the Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Operations. Oversees and enhances technologies, builds digital student resources, and maintains the online employer job system in collaboration with the Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Operations. This position receives supervision from the Senior Director.
