Position Summary:
Reports to the Head Baseball Coach and Director of Athletics. Assist the Head Baseball Coach with various aspects of the varsity baseball program; i.e., coaching, recruiting,
and game/practice management and fundraising. The assistant baseball coach will adhere to RMAC rules, regulations, and NCAA Division II bylaws. In addition, the assistant baseball coach will represent MSU Denver in a positive manner and continue to uphold the program's philosophies and the athletic department's core values.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Coaching (40%) - Game/Practice Management (20%) - Recruiting (15%) - Scheduling/Travel Coordination (10%) - Academic Monitoring (5%) - Organizing Camps/Clinics (5%) - Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

Specific Responsibilities:

Assist Head Coach in coaching team (Practice planning, individual workouts, game strategy, scouting reports, etc)
Assist in developing and implementing training and game plans.
Academic Coordinator via study hall, class attendance, class registration and progress towards graduation.
Recruiting Coordinator via events (i.e. tournaments, showcases, games and camps) scheduling, organizing unofficial/official visits, tryouts etc
Travel Coordinator via scheduling flights, charter buses, rental vehicles, hotels, meals, training times, etc
Game day liaison with visiting opponents via scheduling training times, providing visitor guide and preparing NCAA Game Rosters.
Assist in scouting and video analysis.
Assist Head Coach in the organization and implementation of fundraising opportunities, (which include, but are not limited to camps/clinics, facility rentals, Rockies 50/50 raffle, Red & Blue Fund, etc)
Assist in community service projects.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Previous competitive and/or coaching experience in the specified sport
