Job Duties:

Responsible for providing high-level administrative support to relieve the Associate Dean, Workforce Development and Extended Studies of administrative details; serves as an office manager by monitoring workflow and product as well as supervising lower-level support staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible secretarial and/or administrative support experience, including supervisory experience.

NOTE:
o For work experience, a year is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months.

o If the position requires supervisory experience, the experience must be at a professional level (i.e. evaluation and/or discipline of staff).
AND

Education: Equivalent to an Associates degree in business administration or a related field.

Only coursework completed at, and degrees awarded by, accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education will be considered as satisfying the minimum qualifications.
