California State University, Fullerton is searching for an Administrative Analyst/Specialist for the Doctor of Nursing Program (DNP) with a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

The Administrative Analyst/Specialist provides independent administrative program direction to the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, which is a consortium between three California State University campuses (Fullerton, Long Beach, and Los Angeles) and requires coordination with both academic and staff positions at each campus, as well as administrative responsibilities for the DNP program in partnership with the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia (KPSA). Maintains and develops admission, doctoral qualifying and final defenses, and graduation processes for the DNP program. Provides analysis, planning, and reporting of program functions to include both process and outcome objectives to program, college, university and accrediting bodies; independently initiates and maintains accreditation processes and reporting for the DNP program. Analyzes problems arising in program operation and recommends alternative solutions. Monitors and analyzes fiscal and budgetary aspects of program. Reconciles budget reimbursements between Consortium campuses and KPSA. Develops and maintains processes for student and alumni retention and engagement. Serves as a liaison to other universities within the Consortium and to the other CSU DNP. Consortium to ensure statewide consistency in recruitment, reporting, and evaluation. Provides administrative support to program coordinators, DNP program director, and DNP consortium faculty leads. Requires external information sessions, student events, and recruitment events outside of normal business hours. Other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with extensive administrative work experience involving study analysis and/or evaluation leading to the development and improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs, preferably in areas related to nursing.
Accreditation processes experience. Graduate program processes experience
Computer skills in standard peripherals, office software, copy machine, multi-line phone, facsimile and scanner. Skilled in the use of MS Office, survey generation programs, and statistical analysis software. Background experience in working with databases, and the creation of queries to extract data, statistical analysis and information systems for generating accreditation and program-specific data based reports; and for conducting database searches for synthesizing research information. This experience would preferably include work with student databases tracking academic progression and data analytics.
Strong project management, organizational, teamwork, skills including the ability to manage a complex workload with shifting priorities. Knowledge of a university infrastructure, policies and procedures. Thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation which is essential for effective oral and written communication, and professional report writing including a demonstrated ability to effectively interpret, organize, and present information and ideas in written and presentation form. Knowledge of basic mathematics needed for monitoring budgetary data and balancing budget. Knowledge of descriptive statistics and statistical analyses needed for analyzing data
Ability to work with representatives from public and private entities and handle potentially sensitive situations. Ability to have a broad perspective, prioritize, and anticipate potential problems and prevent them from occurring.
