Project Coordinator

Job Summary

 Provide support to project management function, regardless of discipline (e.g., Construction, Engineering, Operations, Technical). Review project proposals, ensure projects adhere to contract language, coordinate agreements and contracts with internal and external partners, and issue and track project amendment documentation. Perform technical support including project scheduling and planning, earned value management, budget review/cost analysis, and change of scope impact analysis. Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and project stakeholders and recommend solutions. Monitor and evaluate project timeline and activity and report on progress to project managers and leadership.
 
 Supports the development and implementation of program(s) and plays an important role in the day-to-day activities of projects.

This position is partially funded by grants.

Responsibilities
Demonstrated excellent human relations and customer service skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Previous experience working in a higher education setting. Experience working on federally funded projects.
Ability to work with and coordinate among multiple project partners. Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
Ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software applications.

Minimum Qualifications
Six years related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. Bachelor's degree in a related area is preferred.
