Marketing & Data Coordinator

Job Summary

The Graduate Business Programs & Executive Education department at the David Eccles School of Business is seeking a Marketing & Data Coordinator to support the execution of email, text, and digital marketing campaigns for Graduate Programs and Executive Education. This role focuses on marketing communications, campaign coordination, data management, and operational support for ongoing operational execution enrollment initiatives.
Your primary responsibilities will include content creation, event scheduling, data entry, and providing general support to the team's day-to-day activities. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a marketing environment and contribute to high-impact enrollment efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with drafting, building, scheduling, and QA of email, text message, and social media campaigns across multiple audiences.
  • Coordinate and schedule marketing communications and recruiting events across email, text, web, and calendar platforms, ensuring accuracy, timing, and alignment with campaign goals.
  • Own the accuracy and maintenance of lead data in Salesforce, including data entry, updates, and list management to support campaign execution and reporting
  • Help prepare materials for events, such as printed collateral, signage, and more.
  • Monitor campaign performance (email and text) and flag issues or opportunities for improvement
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones and covering the front desk when necessary.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the overall marketing strategy.

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Preferences
  • Basic understanding of marketing concepts and digital platforms, or a strong desire to learn
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in data entry, content review, and scheduling
  • Critical thinking skills and sound judgment; comfortable asking questions when needed
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote team members, including participating in virtual meetings for training and direction
  • Comfort working with email or text messaging platforms (e.g., marketing emails, newsletters, SMS)
  • Ability to follow campaign timelines and manage execution tasks across multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite, or web editing is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, marketing tools, or CRM systems is a plus
  • Interest in marketing operations, communications, or analytics
