Social/Clinical Research Specialist - Program Manager

Primary Purpose of Position:
The Project Manager will be working on managing the activities of HOPE (Health Equity, EnvirOnment and Population HEalth) program in Kannapolis which includes close collaboration with Public Health Departments from Cabarrus, Rowan and Anson Counties as well as multiple local organization and NCDHHS.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of public and business administration.
Considerable knowledge of human resources, purchasing, budget and accounting practices and procedures as related to the program area of assignment.
Considerable operational and policy knowledge related to the program area.
Skill in program analysis and evaluation.
Ability to select and train community collaborators engaged in specific program or operational area.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other State officials and the general public.
