Job Summary

The Full-time MBA Program Office is looking for a part-time (20 hours) temporary Student Services Assistant to help support MBA Orientation, incoming student transition activities, and communication with Full-time MBA students. General responsibilities will include event and administrative support. Specific duties are outlined below. The position is needed to from January to end of June, 2020.

Responsibilities*

FTMBA Major Events Support

  • Assist with planning and logistical support for:

    • All FTMBA Orientation programs (MBA1, Partners, International Students, and MBA2 Re-Orientation)

    • Final 100 (graduating student) - related events

    • Student club conferences/events

    • Club leader transition process

  • Support includes, but is not limited to, communications, preparation of agendas and materials, room reservation and on-site support on days of events

Communication

  • Update incoming student-related website

  • Coordinate with other units to compile bi-weekly incoming student alerts and other communications for incoming FTMBA students

  • Coordinate with Program Office and Career Development Office to plan and host incoming student webinar

Other

  • Assist with development and documentation of processes related to student transition activities


Required Qualifications*
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Customer-service orientation
