Job Summary
The Slate Coordinator is a hands-on position that supports the ongoing development of the University's 2 (two) Technolutions Slate CRM instances: Undergraduate Admissions and Graduate Admissions. The coordinator will support strategic and innovative work within the Division of Enrollment, Marketing & Student Success and the Jack N. Averitt College of Graduate Studies (and any future expansion).
This position will collaborate closely with the Slate Captain, Undergraduate Admissions, the Jack N. Averitt College of Graduate Studies, University Communications and Marketing, Information Technology Services, Adult and Online Learning, and third-party partners to support ongoing implementation, optimization, and expansion of processes within Slate to meet University enrollment goals.
Hybrid with the option of fully remote after onboarding. Some required campus events.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Technolutions Slate CRM best practices with ongoing training/learning to stay up-to-date on all features, tools, and opportunities for system and process optimization.
- Work with departmental functional experts to build or enhance Slate-based functionality to support Division initiatives.
- Support and assist with maintaining Slate-hosted applications, forms, and application decision processes including checklists, reader bins and forms, document uploads/storage, print and electronic admission and scholarship letters, and releasing admission decisions.
- Support and assist with maintaining events, portals, recruitment/scholarship processes, forms, and other tools within Slate that support recruitment and yield initiatives.
- Build and maintain queries, dashboards, rules, fields, and prompts.
- Build and maintain reports on enrollment data, processing, and other strategic efforts for internal enrollment assessment and planning, institutional surveys, and historical data capture.
- Ensure data integrity by building and maintaining data imports, deduplicating records, and auditing existing processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for Slate questions from university staff. Troubleshoot and liaise with other support systems to complete projects and solve problems.
- Create, maintain, and share resources, documentation, and training for Slate processes.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience with Technolutions Slate CRM or similar customer relationship management system.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Two (2) or more years of related work experience with Slate (similar customer relationship management system).
- Experience working in higher education admissions, recruitment, operations, marketing, project management, or software support.
Proposed Salary
$45,600
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
