An expert on implementing best practices for women in computing, the Program Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the Center. These include the grant making process, the provision of technical assistance to universities, and peer to peer mentoring. The Program Director reports to the Executive Director of the Center, will supervise the Program Coordinator, and will work closely with the Technical Advisors, Researcher and Communications Specialist.

  • Work closely with the Communications Specialist to develop and implement communications that reach other universities and the community of people working on broadening participation in tech.
  • Collaborate with the Researcher to identify insights and learnings emerging from the technical assistance, grant making, and translate those into published findings.
  • Work closely with the Program Coordinator and the Technical Advisors on monitoring and evaluation, ensuring there is a dashboard in place for each university and then aggregating so it can be used for strategic communications and research, and also so that it can be shared publicly.
  • Support Executive Director in managing and leveraging the Advisory Committee, a group of around seven thought leaders dedicated to promoting women in computing.
  • Work with Executive Director and key members of the Khoury College staff to steward relationship with founding donor and to cultivate new relationships over time.

    Qualifications:

Ten+ years of experience in higher education and/or nonprofit grant making.
Master Degree in computing, business, administration or other related field.
Expertise in implementing best practices for women in computing and computing/STEM education.
