We are searching for an experienced Part time Faculty, Geography at our Santa Maria Campus facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Part-time, faculty - Geography

Allan Hancock College is accepting applications for part-time instructors to establish a pool of qualified candidates to teach at the Santa Maria campus for spring 2020. As positions for part-time instructors in social sciences open, the department will select instructors from the established pool.

EDUCATION:

Master's degree in geography

OR

Bachelor's in geography

AND

Master's in geology, history, meteorology, or oceanography OR the equivalent OR see interdisciplinary studies.

OR

the equivalent per Board Policy 7211.

Special Qualification:

Evidence of a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of staff and students, and to staff and students with disabilities.

SALARY:

Lecture Rate: $46.98 to $71.93 per hour depending upon education and experience

Lab Rate: $40.91 to $62.63 per hour depending upon education and experience

Activity Rate: $30.23 to $47.18 per hour depending upon education and experience



Required Qualifications:
