Position Summary: The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

This is a 12 month, fixed-term Clinical Supervisor Western Carolina University's (WCU) CAA accredited CSD program. Expected start date of June 1, 2024 with potential to start July 1, 2024 at the latest. The position will supervise diagnostic and therapeutic clinical opportunities for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) MS students in settings including the WCU Speech and Hearing Clinic and off-campus sites.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) offers the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. It also partners with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to offer the Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology (IDEALL CSD). The Department is closely linked with the Speech and Hearing Clinic where speech and hearing services are provided to the greater Western North Carolina region.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this position:

Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP as well as eligibility for or current NC SLP license; and experience supervising graduate SLP students.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong team skills; experience mentoring students and others; and clinical experience across the life-span.
