The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for Tutoring Services within the Tutoring and Academic Support Center (TASC). Direct the delivery, assessment, and continuous improvement of comprehensive tutoring programs that advance student success, persistence, and academic achievement while ensuring alignment with divisional priorities. Oversee staffing, budget administration, program development, and resource allocation. Serve as a key member of the TASC leadership team, collaborating with academic partners and advising the Director on program strategy, operational needs, and service enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required.
- Master's Degree in Education or related field preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience required, with demonstrated responsibility for staff oversight, performance management, and operational leadership.
- Managerial experience in a higher education setting preferred, particularly within academic support, student services, or related administrative environments.
- Experience working with students with accommodations and adult learners in a higher education setting preferred, with demonstrated understanding of inclusive practices and accessibility requirements.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication required, including the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and administrators.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English required.
- Experience in academic support or learning assistance services and familiarity with tutoring program software preferred.
- Teaching, training, or professional development experience preferred, particularly in support of staff or peer educators.
Working Conditions:

Hiring Range:
12 Salary Starting salary beginning at $75,131, based on education and experience.
