Print Equipment Operator 3, FT, Permanent

Empire State University is seeking a candidate for a full-time Print Equipment Operator 3 to work in our Saratoga Springs location.

The Print Equipment Operator 3 will be responsible for assigning and completing all print jobs and products produced by the print shop, including jobs received from outside of the university.

Duties of this position will include the following:

Responsible for all print shop equipment by coordinating preventative and service maintenance calls
Responsible for the selection and purchase of all supplies for the print shop
Ability to evaluate and determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods for producing print jobs
Create and manage print quotes for print shop clients
Responsible for completing jobs in a timely and efficient manner
Supervise and direct the daily activities of print shop staff

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have one year of service as a Print Equipment Operator 2 or four years of offset printing equipment operating experience

Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Additional Information:

Salary: $50,425
