Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in a highly specialized, mission-driven transplant program, where your work directly supports life-saving care. You'll gain exposure to clinical operations, faculty leadership, and complex program coordination while building in-demand skills across scheduling, events, credentialing, and healthcare administration in a collaborative academic environment.

The Section of Transplant Section is a burgeoning unit within the Department of Medicine, bringing together multidisciplinary teams in a highly collaborative, mission-driven environment. With expanding clinical programs and a strong commitment to innovation and patient-centered care, the section offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team at the forefront of life-saving transplant medicine

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate complex clinical scheduling across inpatient services, transplant and hepatology clinics, outreach sites, and provider availability.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and communications.
  • Plan and execute events and educational programming, including webinars, meetings, and faculty recruitment visits.
  • Manage travel logistics and expense processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies.
  • Support procurement activities and financial tracking, including purchasing and budget coordination for events and operations.
  • Coordinate provider credentialing and licensure processes, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact, building strong relationships with faculty, staff, trainees, and external partners.



Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week on the CU Anschutz Campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Intermediate Level:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • One (1) year of professional level experience in an administrative or program support setting.


Senior Level:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) year of professional level experience in an administrative or program support setting.


A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three (3) or more years of experience providing administrative and/or business support in an academic, healthcare, hospital, medical, and/or University environment.
  • Experience in complex scheduling and calendar management.
  • Experience with provider credentialing and licensure processes.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:

  • Intermediate Level: $54,656 - $73,239
  • Senior Level: $59,087 - $79,177


The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
