Job Summary
The Center for National Security Initiatives is looking for a temporary research assistant to support the research and application of multi-mode integrated sensors. Experience with researching radar, lidar, robotics, and phased arrays is required. Experience with machine learning and sensor integration is desired. Successful applicants will work with a PI, students, and other researchers to design, plan, conduct, and coordinate experiments design and control of integrated sensors.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Work with the Principal Investigator and other researchers on the design of an integrated sensor platform.
- Assist in the development and completion of key research tasks
- Prepare, attend, and deliver weekly progress reports with the Principal Investigator and the Project Sponsor.
- Complete a final report.

What We Can Offer
The hire rate for this 100% appointment is $37.00 per hour.

What We Require
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- Demonstrated PhD-level research in sensor integration and control.
- Experience with Python and ROS programming.
