Job Summary

The Center for National Security Initiatives is looking for a temporary research assistant to support the research and application of multi-mode integrated sensors. Experience with researching radar, lidar, robotics, and phased arrays is required. Experience with machine learning and sensor integration is desired. Successful applicants will work with a PI, students, and other researchers to design, plan, conduct, and coordinate experiments design and control of integrated sensors.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Work with the Principal Investigator and other researchers on the design of an integrated sensor platform.
Assist in the development and completion of key research tasks
Prepare, attend, and deliver weekly progress reports with the Principal Investigator and the Project Sponsor.
Complete a final report.

What We Can Offer

The hire rate for this 100% appointment is $37.00 per hour.

What We Require

Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
Demonstrated PhD-level research in sensor integration and control.
Experience with Python and ROS programming.
